WHAT WE MAKE
Walnut & Brass is a workshop, not a showroom brand. We cut, joint, inlay and finish in Egypt, and we build three quite different things: contemporary seating in solid timber, classical case goods inlaid by hand, and fitted interiors measured to the room they go in.
HOW WE BUILD
The standard is the same across all three: joinery that holds up when you look at the back of the piece, timber chosen board by board, and a finish applied by hand. Most of what we make is built to order, so a lead time is part of the quote.
WORKING WITH US
Contemporary pieces are priced on the site and can be ordered directly. Classical and fitted work is quoted per commission — send a drawing, a photograph, or the room itself, and we will come and measure.
HONEST MATERIAL
If it is solid walnut we say so. If it is veneered we say that too.
ONE MAKER PER PIECE
A chair is built start to finish by the same pair of hands.
NO HIDDEN COST
Delivery and installation are quoted before you commit, not at the door.
REPAIRABLE BY DESIGN
Joints that come apart cleanly are worth more than joints that never can.
PATIENCE OVER SPEED
A finish takes the days it takes. We will tell you how many.
