Who we are
ARTEK is an independent web design and development studio in Cairo, Egypt, run by Ahmed H. AlSayed. We are responsible for this website and for the information described on this page.

Visit statistics
To understand which pages are useful and how people get in touch, the site keeps a simple count of visits on our own server. For each page view or tap on a contact link we record:
- the page, the date and time, and the site language (English or Arabic)
- the type of device (phone, tablet or computer)
- the website that sent you here, if any (for example google.com) — only the site name, never the full address
- whether you tapped WhatsApp, Instagram, email or a client's store
- a random-looking code so a visit is not counted twice. It is made from a shortened version of your IP address and your browser type, mixed with a secret key that is replaced every day. The IP address itself is never saved, and the code cannot be linked to you or to your visits on another day.
We use these numbers only to improve the site. They are kept for 12 months and then deleted automatically. No cookies are used for this, nothing is shared with anyone, and search engines and bots are left out.
If your browser sends a “Do Not Track” or “Global Privacy Control” signal, your visits are not counted at all. You can also switch counting off on this browser with the button below.
Your visits on this browser are counted anonymously.Your visits on this browser are not counted.
Cookies and browser storage
This site does not set any cookies for visitors. It saves three small settings in your own browser so the site works the way you left it. They never leave your device and are not used to follow you:
artek-lang— remembers whether you chose English or Arabicartek-seen— skips the opening animation after the first page, and is cleared when you close the tabartek-notrack— only exists if you switched visit counting off
Because these are needed for the site to work as you asked, no consent banner is shown. You can delete them at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
When you contact us
The site has no forms. When you message us on WhatsApp or Instagram, that conversation happens inside those apps and is also covered by the privacy policies of Meta, which runs them. Emails reach our own mailbox on our hosting. We use what you send us — your name, number and project details — only to reply, prepare a quote and work on your project.
We keep these conversations while we are talking or working together, and afterwards only as long as needed for our records. You can ask us to delete them at any time.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted by our hosting provider, whose servers may be located outside Egypt. Like every web server, theirs keeps short technical logs (such as IP address, browser and time of request) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are kept by the host for a limited time and are not used by us to identify visitors.
All fonts, scripts, images, videos and 3D models are served from our own server. The site does not load anything from other companies while you browse.
Links to other sites
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and the stores we built (such as broos.store and wearchamp.com) take you to sites run by others, with their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for them.
Your rights
You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to how we use it, or withdraw any permission you gave. Message us and we will reply as soon as we can, and within 30 days at the latest. Visit statistics cannot be linked to a person, so they cannot be looked up for you — but you can switch counting off at any time.
If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center or, if you live elsewhere, to the data protection authority in your country.
Children
This site is meant for businesses and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
